Synopsis:
Ojarumaru, a young man from a noble family, is dissatisfied with his privileged life in the Heian period, around 1,000 years ago. Meanwhile, Enma, the ruler of the demons, loses his magic staff after three demons take it. When Ojarumaru finds it, he uses it to travel to the present. There, he befriends a boy named Kazuma and joins his family. As time passes, Ojarumaru gains many new friends while avoiding the humorous attempts of the three demons—Akane, Kisuke, and Aobee—to retrieve the staff.
